Participants will explore site analysis tools and complete a field-based site assessment\,  apply site data to living shoreline design projects\, and understand the permitting process in Maryland. Attendees receive instruction on living shoreline construction\, adaptive management\, typical maintenance tasks\, and maintenance plan development. Individuals pursuing the CBLP-Shorelines certificate will be required to attend a living shoreline installation practicum at a professionally managed living shoreline installation project upon completion of this workshop. \nThis is a professional development workshop designed for existing CBLPs and professionals working along the shoreline who want to add Living Shoreline Services to their business offerings.
