Registration is now open for the 2018 Intensive Seminar: June 21-23, 2018
Attendance on all days is required. The seminar, which will be held at The George Washington University’s Arlington, VA, graduate education campus from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM each day, includes classroom lectures, group and individual exercises, and a field trip. The seminar is followed by a written assessment, on July 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Level 2 topics include detailed site analysis, soil and vegetation protection during construction, using natural plant communities as reference landscapes to inspire design, and an in-depth focus on stormwater BMP design and installation, with an eye toward long-term management success. CBLP is focused on creating a connected community of like-minded professionals, and this fast-paced and dynamic class allows dedicated time for networking and socializing with participants and instructors.
To apply for Level 2, you must have already passed the Level 1 exam (or be confirmed to take the exam), and must have experience in design and/or installation of stormwater practices.
Fees for Level 2
You may choose to seek one certification or both.
One certification, CBLP-D (design) or CBLP-I (installation) – $580
Two certifications, CBLP-D and CBLP-I – $630
The fee includes:
- Instruction, field trip, and materials
- Final assessment
- Continental breakfast, coffee/tea, and 2 lunches
Candidates Must Verify Experience
Once you have paid for Level 2 training, you must submit a letter of recommendation from an employer, local government, watershed organization, or other partner that verifies you have some experience designing and/or installing stormwater practices and/or other conservation landscaping.
