SUMMARY:Forest Tree & Shrub Identification Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Identifying trees and shrubs is a real challenge to woodland owners who want to learn more about what is growing on their property and carry out management activities. To control invasive species\, thin the woods\, or cut firewood\, you want to make sure you are treating the right plant and not harming more desirable ones.\n\n\n\nThis workshop will provide a tree identification book and easy-to-use key to help you figure out what it what\, along with samples and field identification of trees found at the Western Maryland Research & Education Center.
