Turning a New Leaf Conference (Virtual + Field Events)

CCLC’s 2021 Turning a New Leaf Conference will be held virtually on December 8-9, from 9 AM – 3 PM, and will be followed by live field events in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia on December 10.

This year, we are highlighting collaborations that normalize sustainable practices and ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.  Some of our topics are climate change,  green mulch, landscaping impacts on pollinators, expanding the workforce, ensuring equity in design & planning, beavers and stream restoration, working with HOAs, and more. We will also showcase inspiring designs from the 2021 BUBBA awards.  The full agenda is online.

Most Turning a New Leaf presentations will be full-audience sessions, with one shorter concurrent session, offering numerous options, each day.
