Ecosystem Modeling: Using Natural Plant Communities as Models for Landscape Design

$85 – $100This class covers site assessments, research, and the creation of species lists and installation plans for native assemblages of plants. Understand how design choices can support greater habitat value for wildlife and biodiversity through the use of appropriately selected native plants. Workshop includes on-site walk to visit natural reference habitats and native plant installations. Participants will also work in small groups on conceptual practices.
LOCATION: Quarry Gardens in Schuyler, VA (Nelson County).
