CBLP-Crews: Stormwater BMP Maintenance Training for Landscape Crews
The Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) Crews stormwater certificate is a one-day, hands-on course for landscape crews and crew leaders who maintain stormwater best management practices (BMPs). Designed for maximum engagement, this stormwater BMP training combines field-based learning with real-world scenarios.
This course is available in English or Spanish.
The CBLP-Crews Stormwater Certificate
Ideal for: This program is designed for:
- landscape crews
- crew leaders
- maintenance staff
- facilities teams
- parks departments
- public works staff
- contractors
who are responsible for the care of vegetated and non-vegetated BMPs.
Specifically designed for those who have not yet completed CBLP Level 1 training and are looking to build foundational stormwater BMP knowledge through practical, hands-on experience.
The program offers tested means, methods, values, and a network of likeminded stewards to protect our natural resources and propel our environments to become more sustainable. Some major takeaways are in the facility plan investigation, getting your hands “dirty” with the soils you have on sites, and learning how to implement adaptive management strategies that set your facilities up for long term success.
