HOMETOWN HABITAT: STORIES OF BRINGING NATURE HOME is an environmental film by Catherine Zimmerman, an award-winning director of photography and independent documentary filmmaker (https://themeadowproject.com).  The movie features community habitat landscaping projects that use NATIVE PLANTS to support the survival and vitality of local ecosystems.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

* In-Person Introduction by Catherine Zimmerman, Producer

* Screening of selected segments

* PANEL DISCUSSION and Q/A with these invited guests:

  • Kennon Williams, Landscape Architect (Kennon Williams Landscape Studio)
  • Gem Bingol, Piedmont Environmental Council
  • Devin Floyd, Center for Urban Habitats
