Stormwater Landscapes: Using Native Plant Communities for Design

This workshop focuses on designing storm water landscapes modeled on native plant communities, and using an ecological assessment process. Understand how design choices can support greater habitat value for wildlife and biodiversity through the use of appropriately selected native plants. Participants will receive instruction in the classroom and also on a field trip to visit and analyze several storm water landscapes and a native plant reference community.

LOCATION: Albemarle County Office Building, Charlottesville VA.

Early registration- $85 by August 20. Regular registration- $100.
