Stormwater Ponds: Assessment and Maintenance

Session Description:  This interactive session will explore and examine several stormwater ponds in various conditions to highlight assessment and maintenance of these important landscape features. In both field and classroom settings, participants will  understand the basic function of both wet and dry stormwater ponds, and the maintenance requirements of each.  We will also discuss how pond structures fit into the landscape as a complement to an overall effort to lessen the effects of polluted runoff.
