Streambank Repair: Livestaking Workshop
March 30, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
FreeAt this workshop, we will teach you about the process of cutting and planting live stakes, branch segments of trees and shrubs that are planted during their winter dormancy. We will spend about 30 minutes discussing how the process works and then the remainder of the time we will spend practicing the techniques directly in a stream at the workshop site. You will gain the skills you need to repeat this experience at your stream while also helping to repair a stream in need (Pennsylvania has over 18,000 miles of impaired streams throughout the state.)
