Turning a New Leaf Conference: Growing Resilient Landscapes & Communities

Turning a New Leaf 2023 will be held in person on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, with featured speakers: Abra Lee, who will discuss Black Horticulture History, Heather Holm on Creating and Managing Landscaping for Native Bees and Wasps. Plus lots of other engaging speakers.
Wednesday, December 6:
- Special session for certified CBLP professionals, “Stormwater for Poets and Philosophers”
- Cash bar happy hour
- Welcome dinner- speaker: Joel Dunn, Chesapeake Conservancy; Marcy Damon Conservation Landscaping Award presentation
Thursday, December 7 – Conference with continental breakfast and lunch included- 9 AM – 5 PM
Friday, December 8 – Two AM field trip options: 1) Living shorelines or 2) Eastern Shore sampler tour
