VSLD Winter Meeting and Seminar

The Virginia Society of Landscape Designers (VSLD) announces their
upcoming winter meeting and seminar.
Come see Thomas Rainer (co-author, Planting in a Post-Wild World) and Carol Heiser (Habitat
Education Coordinator, VA Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries) apply
Thomas’s concepts of layered plant communities to the designed
landscape. Special emphasis will be given to producing better, more
easily managed landscapes. Thomas will lead an exercise assigning
values to plants and positioning them in an actual design project as
practical experience for all those involved in designing and
installing landscapes in the mid-Atlantic area.
