Waynesboro Tree Workshop: Reveling in the Magnificence of Trees

The 2018 “Reveling in the Magnificence of Trees” workshop is divided into two tracks: Lecture Track and ArborMaster® Track.
The Lecture Track is divided into two sessions of indoor lectures and outdoor demonstrations and is geared toward those working in municipalities, government agencies and private industry. This track will be held at the Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn and Suites Conference Center at 109 Appletree Lane, Waynesboro VA 22980.
The morning Lecture Track presenters and topics are:
- Landscape mulches, the good, the bad, and the just plain ugly – Dr. Linda Chalker-Scott, Washington State University
- Pruning for Wildlife Habitat – Mr. Brian French, Arboriculture International LLC
- The Difference Between Urban Trees and Native Forests – Dr. Joan Maloof, Old Growth Forest Network
- Soil Management to Improve Tree Health – Dr. Tom Smiley, Bartlett Tree Research Lab
6 CBLP CEUs will be available for the lecture track.
