Watershed Institute Green Infrastructure Certification
March 18 & 19
CBLP is pleased to partner with The Watershed Institute to bring an adapted version of the Level 1 training to professionals in New Jersey who design, install and maintain stormwater best management practices (BMPs) and conservation landscapes.
WIGI Level 1 is the foundational training for professionals seeking practical, science-based knowledge in sustainable landscaping and green infrastructure. This in-person course focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of stormwater best management practices (BMPs), combining expert-led classroom instruction with real-world, field-based learning. Participants gain critical thinking skills and a stronger understanding of how landscape practices support watershed health and ecological function.
This course is ideal for landscape architects and designers, contractors, arborists, engineers, planners, horticulturists, grounds managers, and other professionals working in landscaping, stormwater management, urban forestry, or environmental fields. Level 1 serves as the baseline credential for the WIGI program and is a valuable step for those looking to strengthen their skills, meet professional development goals, or advance toward CBLP Level 2 certification.
