CCLC Turning a New Leaf Conference

Keynote speaker, Rick Darke, will discuss, “THE DESIGN & STEWARDSHIP OF LIVING LANDSCAPES.” In the plenary presentation, CBLP Coordinators, Beth Ginter and Shereen Hughes, will give an update on the CBLP certification program.
Attendees may choose from among 12 additional presentations in the following tracks:
TRACK A: PUTTING THE PRACTICAL IN SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE PRACTICE
TRACK B: PLANTS, WILDLIFE & BIODIVERSITY: UNDERSTANDING PIECES OF THE PUZZLE
TRACK C: COMMUNICATION: WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY
At the welcome dinner on Thursday evening, CCLC will present its 3rd Marcy Damon Conservation Landscaping Award, and Gem Bingol, from the Piedmont Environmental Council, will share images and insights about PEC community projects in Loudoun County and other parts of its 9-county service area in Virginia.

There will be a reception for certified CBLPs following the conference on Friday afternoon.
