Backyard Buffer Design Workshops

Join the Upper and Middle James Riparian Consortium for a hands-on Backyard Buffer Design Workshop from 10am to 3pm on October 6th (Charlottesville) or October 20th (Chesterfield). Riparian landowners, landscape designers, and anyone interested in backyard buffer restoration is invited to join.

This free workshop will provide practical experience with conducting a site assessment and designing a backyard buffer, with special attention to the different design considerations of small residential sites and how the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP) may be an avenue for funding.
