Living Shoreline Volunteer Opportunity

Do something beautiful by assisting Elizabeth River Project’s restoration team construct a living shoreline for Colley Avenue’s new Kitting Mill Creek Pocket Park in Norfolk, Virginia.
All supplies will be provided for you, though waders and muck boots are encouraged if you have them. A water bottle and sunscreen are also encouraged. NOTE: This volunteer shift may require lifting up to 50lbs
Once registered, a staff member will reach out to confirm your shift and include full location address. Volunteers will be notified at least 16 hours prior to their shift if any changes or cancellations have been made due to weather or tides.

Note: This will satisfy for the field experience requirement for CBLP-Shorelines candidates.
