Webinar Series: Natural Area Management
October 22 @ 7:00 pm - November 12 @ 8:00 pm$35 – $55
Join this webinar series and learn about expanding Green Industry services to your clientele, and earn a variety of forestry-related recertification credits. Perhaps you manage land for an organization, work with volunteers, or are just an interested landowner?
Then this four-part webinar series is for you! The Woods in Your Backyard Partnership has created a multi-state program for Green Industry professionals to gain knowledge and skills useful for providing additional services to clientele with small acreage properties. Natural area management services can enhance existing natural areas or create new ones from existing lawn areas. Known as “land care practices,” they include invasive plant identification and control, controlling damaging vines, converting lawn areas to woodland using tree seedlings and shelters, enhancing wildlife habitat enhancement, trail construction, and other practices.
A specialized handbook for Green Industry professionals and a checklist tool for use with potential clients was developed to complement the training, and to help participants determine which land care practices are suitable for a given property/site. Case studies and online resources provide additional learning opportunities.
Join us for this 4-part webinar series to increase your knowledge base, add skills and gain an edge over the competition with additional services to offer your clients.
