Knowledge & Question Exchange: Saltwater Intrusion

Topical focus: Residential, landscaping, utility, and municipal sectors

Goals:

• Increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of saltwater intrusion

• Develop a knowledge base of the best available resources and a workshop report outlining research and educational material needs

• Increase collaborative action of all saltwater intrusion stakeholders in Delaware

Activities: Natural science, social science, and economics presentations; state agency/industry panel; and small-group discussions

Suggested participants: Researchers, landscape professionals, water/utility providers, state agencies, non-profits/NGOs, elected officials, community leaders, and other extension/education providers

Cost: The exchange is free, but registration is required. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
