Lewis Ginter Winter Symposium, CVNLA Short Course

February 12, 2020 - February 14, 2020

$80 – $215

“Uncertain Times, Reliable Gardens”

Presented by Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Central Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association, and Virginia Cooperative Extension

Join seasoned gardeners and green industry professionals to explore how concepts of beauty and order are changing based on deep research into how plants behave and how they are reacting to climate change.  the importance of native plants and an understanding of plant communities help designers and gardeners create more resilient gardens and contribute to the health of the biosphere in the face of climate change.

Continuing education hours are offered for each day, along with book sales and signings and opportunities to network with industry colleagues. Net proceeds from the three-day event help build CVNLA’s scholarship fund for students pursuing horticultural careers.

Two-day symposium, plus one day for pesticide certification.

Up to 15 CBLP CEUs are available (5 CEUs per day)
